University of Vienna invites applications for a praedoc position in the Quantum Nanophysics Team (QNP) under Prof. Markus Arndt. You will contribute to experiments at the interface of quantum and molecular science, developing universal matter-wave interferometry and quantum sensing tools.

The role includes research, teaching and administration, with dissertation planning and an expected completion within four years. English proficiency and hands-on experimental skills are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Must have completed your Master’s degree or Diploma in physics before you start your position.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Hands-on experimental skills in at least two of the listed areas are essential.

Aufgaben

• Participate in research, teaching and administration within the QNP project (Q4-BIO).
• Present research plan to faculty and complete dissertation agreement within 12–18 months.
• Work toward dissertation completion within four years with high independence and collaboration.
