Octapharma Vienna, a leading human protein manufacturer, seeks a pharmacovigilance specialist for processing post-marketing safety information and entering adverse drug reactions. You will liaise with local and international pharmacovigilance staff and participate in global safety activities.

The role supports maintaining safety databases, generating narratives, and reporting to authorities. A healthcare degree and strong English are required; a team, accuracy, and timeline focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Completed academic degree in a medical or healthcare field.
• Pharmacovigilance knowledge and experience with case safety reporting is advantageous.
• Fluent English with good communication and presentation skills.
• Team-oriented with strong timeline discipline.
• High computer literacy and database usage accuracy.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsabilités

• Processing post-marketing, literature and clinical safety information.
• Entering adverse drug reaction reports in the pharmacovigilance system.
• Requesting information, initiating product investigations, drafting narratives.
• Reviewing and submitting safety reports to authorities.
• Maintaining global drug safety databases and updating safety files.
• Liaising with pharmacovigilance staff, other departments and authorities.
• Participating in local and international quality improvement activities.
