Job summary

Octapharma in Vienna, Austria seeks a temporary position in Corporate Drug Safety Unit to manage post-marketing safety information and ADR processing. You will enter reports, request further data, write narratives, and liaise with global pharmacovigilance teams.

Qualifications

• Completed academic degree, ideally in a medical or healthcare discipline.
• Pharmacovigilance knowledge and experience in processing/reporting case safety reports would be an advantage.
• Fluent English skills and strong communication and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Processing of post-marketing, literature and clinical safety information.
• Entering adverse drug reaction reports in the drug safety database.
• Requesting further information, initiating product investigations, writing narratives.
• Reviewing and submitting safety reports to authorities.
• Maintaining the global drug safety DB with updated safety report files.
• Liaising with pharmacovigilance personnel locally and worldwide and with other departments.
