The International Atomic Energy Agency, through NSNS and MORC, seeks a Consultant to strengthen national nuclear security response frameworks and to develop, implement, and sustain response capabilities. You will contribute to training materials, coordinate activities, and support States in major public events and incident response planning.

The role emphasizes developing guidance, conducting missions and exercises, and ensuring cross-functional collaboration to advance national security

Qualifikationen

• University degree or equivalent in nuclear chemistry, physics or related field.
• Advanced university degree or equivalent is an asset.
• Minimum of five years of relevant professional experience in nuclear security.
• Experience in developing guidance and training materials related to response to nuclear security events.

Aufgaben

• Design and develop training materials and publications aligned with nuclear security guidance and lessons learned.
• Conduct meetings, training events, Agency missions, table top and field exercises to help States build sustainable nuclear security response capabilities.
• Coordinate effectively within the organization and with Member States on project implementation.
