Under supervision, the consultant develops and sustains effective response capabilities through training, guidance, and joint exercises.

Qualifikationen

• University degree or equivalent in nuclear chemistry, physics or related field.
• Advanced degree in nuclear chemistry/physics or related field is an asset.
• Minimum of five years of relevant professional experience in nuclear security.
• Experience in developing guidance and training materials related to nuclear security response.
• National and international experience in response planning and field operations.
• In-depth knowledge of nuclear security response systems and national frameworks.
• Excellent oral and written command of English; other IAEA languages are an asset.

• Contribute to design and development of training materials and publications.
• Lead activities to support Member States in building sustainable nuclear security response capabilities.
• Coordinate effectively within the organization and with Member States on project implementation.
