NXP Semiconductors in Gratkorn, Austria seeks a System Validation Engineer to verify product features from a customer system perspective. You will broaden your technical scope, especially in NFC, and work in a diverse international team.

Responsibilities include defining testplans, creating and validating system tests (auto and manual), and maintaining the NFC/UWB test environment. A Master’s in a related field and 3+ years in validation are preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in a tech field as listed.
• At least 3 years of experience in system validation, preferably in semiconductors.
• Strong Python and/or scripting skills.
• Solid knowledge of C and microcontrollers.
• Experience with test automation/management.
• Experience with laboratory equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer).
• Familiarity with interfaces like SPI, I2C, UART.
• Experience with version control tools.
• Strong analytical abilities and meticulous, structured work style.
• Reliable and autonomous working approach.
• Proficient in spoken and written English.
• Team player in diverse, international teams.

Aufgaben

• Contribute to testplan definition from product/system requirements.
• Create/verify system test cases and maintain existing ones.

• Troubleshoot and debug issues in an international project team.

The System Validation Engineer is responsible to verify the product and it’s features from a customer system point of view.

This role allows you to broaden your technical scope and gain extensive product know-how, especially in the area of NFC (near field communication).

Your Responsibilities

• Contribute to the definition of a testplan based on product/system requirements
• Create and verify system test cases according a testplanAnalyze, optimize and maintain existing test cases
• Drive and run system tests both automated and manually
• Document test cases, test results and problem reports
• drive issue debugging in an international, cross discipline project team
• Drive further innovating of our daily way of working
• Maintain and extend NFC/UWB system test environment

Your Profile

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information and Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience in systen validation, preferably in the semiconductor industry
• Good skills in Python and/or other scripting languages
• Good knowledge of C programming language and Microcontroller
• Experience with test automation&management
• Experience with laboratory equipment like oscilloscope, logic analyzer, …
• Experience with standard interface like SPI, I2C, UART…
• Experience with version control tools
• Strong analytic skills
• Accurate and well-structured way of working
• Reliable and autonomous working style
• Proficient in spoken and written English
• Team player, working in a diverse and international team
