NXP Semiconductors NV in Austria is seeking an RF concept engineer to drive NFC system specifications, antenna matching, and chip interface signal definitions with a focus on test case and validation plan development.

You will perform simulations (ADS, LTSpice, Cadence Orcad) and support the standardization team while defining verification and validation plans for NFC and wireless charging. Strong English is required and German willingness is expected.

Qualifications

• University degree in electrical engineering or similar technical studies
• 5 years of work experience or more in RF technologies
• Experience with simulation tools: Spice (ADS, LTSpice, Cadence - Orcad)
• Good knowledge of Matlab, Mathcad
• Good mathematical background
• Solid English skills, willing to learn German
• Team player with passion and eagerness to learn

Responsabilités

• Definition of NFC RF System concept to guarantee interoperability and coexistence with existing NFC systems at 13.56MHz
• Writing system specifications
• Definition and execution of simulations (e.g. ADS) to demonstrate behavior or limitations
• Supporting Standardization Team to analyze technical feasibility of changes in the Standard
• Definition of Verification and Validation plan for NFC and Wireless charging
• High level content definition for Application notes
• Technical presentation within RF team and to customers
