Zusammenfassung

Thermal processing Solutions is seeking a dedicated Mechatronics Technician (m/f/d) to support our technology from commissioning at the test bench through to successful implementation at customer sites worldwide.

The role requires completed technical education in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering, hands-on experience with measurement tools, and willingness to travel internationally (approx. 30%). Fluency in German (C1) and strong English are expected.

• Solid knowledge of mechatronics, electrical engineering and mechanics.
• Experience with measurement/testing equipment like multimeters/oscilloscopes.

TPS develops innovative plasma burners for the decarbonization of industrial furnaces, making a significant contribution to reducing CO₂ emissions in energy-intensive industries. A key component of this technology is a medium-frequency (MF) inverter, for which a fully functional prototype has already been developed. The next step is to transform this innovation into a market-ready industrial solution. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a dedicated Mechatronics Technician (m/f/d) who will support our technology from commissioning at the test bench through to successful implementation at customer sites worldwide.

TASKS

Independently modify and adapt test and experimental setups according to project requirements

• Commission systems and perform functional testing both in-house and at customer sites
• Carry out electrical and mechanical quality inspections on assemblies and components
• Assemble, maintain, and document test benches as well as testing and measurement equipment
• Analyze and troubleshoot technical issues during commissioning
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and applicable technical regulations
• Collaborate closely with the Engineering, Production, and Service teams
• Adhere to all relevant safety regulations and technical standards

PROFILE

• Completed technical education (technical college, apprenticeship, or equivalent) in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Solid knowledge of mechatronics, electrical engineering, and mechanics, as well as experience using measurement and testing equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes)
• Experience in commissioning, troubleshooting, or testing of technical systems
• Basic knowledge of control and automation technology
• Understanding of relevant safety standards and technical regulations
• Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 30%)
• Fluent German (minimum C1 level) and very good English skills

We offer an attractive salary in line with the market, depending on qualifications and professional experience.

The minimum gross basic salary according to the collective agreement (Metal technology industry) based on full-time employment is 49,278.74 euros per year.
