Zusammenfassung

Johnson Electric seeks a Control Strategy Developer to craft advanced Model-Based Design control strategies for thermal management in EVs. You will build MATLAB/Simulink models, optimize compressor modulation and mode switching, and work with MIL/SIL/HIL validation and CAN integration.

You will collaborate with system, software and validation engineers, exploring ML approaches and AI insights for the roadmap. Strong English required; German/French beneficial.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in Control Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field; PhD is a strong advantage.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in automotive control systems, thermal management or embedded software development.
• Proven experience delivering control strategies through at least two major thermal management or powertrain projects.
• Deep understanding of Model-Based Design, Embedded Systems, and Control Systems.
• Fluent English; German or French an advantage.

Aufgaben

• Develop MATLAB/Simulink control system models and algorithms.
• Design compressor capacity modulation strategies for optimal cooling/heating.
• Optimize mode switching logic for cooling, heating, and defrost.
• Energy management for electric vehicle battery thermal conditioning.
• MIL, SIL, and HIL validation with test engineers.
• Integrate control algorithms with vehicle embedded software (CAN).
