ams OSRAM's LSP division is seeking a dedicated maintenance engineer to own and optimize Mechanical Wafer Processing equipment. You will configure, install, repair, and continuously monitor systems while collaborating with process engineers.

You will independently handle on-call issues, participate in improvement projects, liaise with equipment manufacturers, and help build maintenance plans and procedures with a proactive, solution‑oriented mindset.

Qualifications

Completed technical education at a higher technical school or vocational education with years of technical experience.
Experience in the fields of engineering, mechatronics, electronics or electrical engineering.
Fluent in German and good English.

Responsabilités

Responsible for and develop expertise in assigned production Equipment MWP (Mechanical Wafer Processing).
Configuration and installation of new equipment.
Repair, maintenance, modifications, and continuous monitoring of the equipment, including systematic equipment analysis.
Commissioning and requalification of equipment in collaboration with the process engineer.
Independently resolving issues as part of on-call service.
Leading and participating in improvement projects for optimization/modification of existing systems.
Liaison with equipment manufacturers and external service technicians.
Collaboration with internal teams (Production, Engineering, Facility).
Creation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of maintenance plans and procedures.
Documentation of results / preparation of work instructions, training materials, and procedures.
Planning and conducting training sessions.
Spare parts Management.
