BP is seeking an expert M&A Consultant to join and drive growth through acquisitions, integrations, and business transformation. You will work across the full M&A lifecycle, from due diligence to post-deal transformation, collaborating with leaders to shape future operating models and integration plans.

You will analyse business, workforce, and financial data, facilitate workshops, and guide teams through change, ensuring value creation and sustained benefits for BP in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience in mergers and acquisitions, strategy consulting, organisational consulting, business transformation, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn complex information into clear recommendations.
  • Experience supporting organisational change, large-scale transformation, or integration programmes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence working with people at all levels of an organisation.
  • Experience facilitating workshops, meetings, and group decision-making sessions.
  • Knowledge of culture change, employee engagement, or organisational effectiveness programmes.
  • The ability to influence outcomes through collaboration, credibility, and strong relationship-building skills.
  • Sound judgement when handling sensitive people and organisational matters.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, financial modelling, and reporting.

About the role

We’re looking for an expert M&A Consultant to join BP and help develop our growth through acquisitions, integrations, and business transformation.

This is an exciting opportunity to work across the full mergers and acquisitions lifecycle, from assessing potential acquisition opportunities through to integration planning and post-deal transformation. You’ll work closely with leaders and teams across the business to bring people, processes, and ways of working together in a way that composes long-term value.

Success in this role requires strong analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to guide organisations through sophisticated periods of change. What you’ll do

As an M&A Consultant, you’ll play a key role in delivering successful transactions and integration programmes by combining business insight, data-driven decision making, and strong communication skills.
