Job summary

IT:U in Linz, Austria, seeks a Learning Coach to empower small interdisciplinary student teams by guiding project work, planning, and personal development. You will support effective collaboration, self-organization, and reflection within a flexible, growth-oriented environment.

The role requires strong coaching, facilitation and knowledge of project management, Agile methods, and Design Thinking, with English at C1 for clear student communication.

Qualifications

• Experience in coaching, facilitation and supporting learning processes.
• Strong understanding of group and team dynamics.
• Experience in project-based learning or project environments.
• Good knowledge of project management, agile methods, and Design Thinking.
• English at C1 level for clear communication with students.

Responsibilities

• Coach small student teams throughout their project work, supporting collaboration and self-organization.
• Guide students in developing personal and social skills according to the IT:U competence framework.
• Support students in project planning, milestone setting, prioritization, time management, and resource allocation.
• Help teams establish effective ways of working, clarifying roles, and managing challenges.
• Foster team reflection and retrospectives, helping students identify improvement areas.
• Facilitate constructive conversations when disagreements arise and align with curriculum goals.
