AIT Austrian Institute of Technology in Vienna seeks an Ingenious Partner to deepen expertise in modelling, simulation, and system design while contributing to innovative research projects in vehicle electrification.

You will independently manage projects, coordinate with industry partners and scientific institutions, and publish findings. You will develop simulations of varying complexity and help advance future mobility technologies through rigorous engineering work.

Qualifikationen

• PhD-level qualification in a relevant field or MSc with relevant experience.
• Proven publication record is an asset.
• Strong programming in Python, MATLAB/Simulink, C/C++.
• Experience with high-fidelity simulation (aero/thermo-dynamics).
• Willingness to travel and pursue a research career.
• Excellent English communication; German helpful.

Aufgaben

• Develop modelling, simulation, and system design expertise for vehicle electrification.
• Independently manage projects and interface with industry partners.
• Acquire and execute national and international research projects.
• Publish results in peer-reviewed outlets and present at conferences.
• Create and run simulations of varying complexity; calibrate models.
