Zusammenfassung

ams OSRAM is seeking a highly experienced PDK Development engineer to create, qualify and maintain process design kits for Cadence and Synopsys across analog and mixed-signal semiconductor technologies. You will collaborate with our foundry organization, EDA vendors and technology development teams to enable new processes, design capabilities and tool flows.

You will drive automation, validation and regression frameworks using Python, Tcl and Linux, and contribute to long-term design enablement

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics or related discipline.
• 6+ years of PDK development, CAD engineering or design enablement.
• Deep understanding of semiconductor processes and IC design flows.
• Experience with foundries, EDA vendors and technology development teams.
• Strong Python, Tcl and Linux automation skills.
• English fluency; German is an advantage.

Aufgaben

• Develop, qualify, release and maintain PDKs for Cadence and Synopsys for analog and mixed-signal technologies.
• Advance PDK development methodologies, qualification strategies and design enablement solutions.
• Collaborate with foundries, technology development teams and EDA vendors to enable new processes and tool flows.
• Drive automation, validation and regression frameworks using Python, Tcl and Linux-based environments.
• Define qualification and release strategies across schematic design, simulation, physical verification and extraction.
• Create technical documentation, conduct training and support critical engineering projects and migrations.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship for global engineering teams.
