Zusammenfassung

ams OSRAM is seeking an Application Engineer to serve as the primary technical interface for customers, Sales, and FAEs. The role focuses on driving design-in and design-win activities, and on developing evaluation hardware to enable customer evaluation of ams OSRAM products.

The candidate will design and validate evaluation kits and reference hardware, perform system-level benchmarking, and create technical collateral for go-to-market activities. Fluency in English is required; German is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years embedded hardware/software experience.
• Expert knowledge of PCB design with Altium Designer.
• Hands-on debugging with lab equipment e.g. oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Act as technical expert and primary support interface for customers, Sales, FAEs, Marketing, and Product Management.
• Drive customer design-in and design-win activities with timely technical guidance.
• Design and develop evaluation kits, demonstrators, and reference hardware.
• Perform system-level validation, characterization, and benchmarking of ams OSRAM and competitor solutions.
• Generate customer-facing technical collateral and presentations.
• Deliver technical training and product presentations for customers, Sales teams, and internal stakeholders.
• Gather customer feedback, market requirements, and competitive insights to Product Management.
• Support go-to-market initiatives and contribute to roadmap planning by identifying trends.
