Job summary

REWE Group Austria sucht eine Lead Developer (m/w/d) im Team Store ERP Systems. Sie übernehmen die technische Ownership für Java-basierte Anwendungen, treiben Spring Boot-Implementierungen voran und arbeiten eng mit Product Owners zusammen.

Sie leiten Entwickler, geben Mentoring, prüfen Code und begleiten Projekte von Konzept bis Umsetzung. Flexible Arbeitszeiten und Remote-Optionen gehören dazu; Gehalt beginnt bei 50.000 € brutto jährlich, je nach Erfahrung auch mehr.

Qualifications

• Abgeschlossene technische Ausbildung oder gleichwertige Qualifikation.
• Mehrjährige Software-Entwicklungserfahrung in designing/implementing.
• Starke Kenntnisse in OO-Design, moderner Softwarearchitektur und Best Practices.
• Erfahrung als technischer Lead oder Mentoring in agilen Teams.
• Hands-on mit Java/Kotlin(Spring Boot), REST-APIs, Microservices, Integrationsmustern.

Responsibilities

• Technische Ownership von Design, Entwicklung und Optimierung von Java-basierten Anwendungen.
• Umsetzung hochwertiger Softwarelösungen mit Java und Spring Boot vorantreiben.
• Zusammenarbeit mit Product Ownern und Stakeholdern zur Übersetzung von Anforderungen.
• Technische Anleitung, Mentoring und Code-Reviews zur Teamentwicklung.
• Unterstützung von Projekten vom Konzept bis zur Umsetzung.
• Bestehende Systeme analysieren und Optimierungspotenziale identifizieren.

Job Description

• Take technical ownership of the design, development, and continuous improvement of Java-based applications and services
• Drive the implementation of high-quality software solutions using Java and Spring Boot
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners and business stakeholders to translate requirements into pragmatic technical solutions
• Providetechnical guidance, mentoring, and code reviews to support the growth of team members
• Support projects throughout their entire lifecycle, from concept to implementation
• Analyze existing systems andidentifyopportunities for optimization and improvement

Qualifications

• Completed technical education (HTL, FH, TU) or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in software development, with a focus on designing and implementing software systems
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented design, modern software architectures, and software engineering best practices
• Experience in leading developers or acting as a technical lead within agile teams
• Hands-on experience with Java/Kotlin(Spring Boot),RESTful APIs, microservices, integration patterns, and distributed systems
