Job summary

Zoku Vienna is hiring a Kitchen Helper to keep the Living Kitchen running smoothly. You’ll assist with dishwashing, basic food prep, mise en place, and ensuring high standards of cleanliness and HACCP compliance in a busy kitchen environment.

Fluent English is required, with extra language skills viewed positively. EU residence or valid work permit for Austria is necessary. Flexible hours across mornings, shifts, and evenings are available, totaling 16–40 hours per week at a market-rate package.

Qualifications

• Have experience in working in a kitchen or stewarding.
• You are fluent in English, any other languages are a big plus!
• You are an EU resident or have a valid work- and residence permit valid for Austria
• You are flexible, as you’ll have no fixed working days or hours.
• We are looking for some one that can work 16 - 40 hours.

Responsibilities

• Keep the kitchen running by cleaning and organizing all areas and equipment.
• Support the chefs with food prep and mise en place for service.
• Handle deliveries, storage, waste, and ensure HACCP compliance.
• Maintain food safety standards with deep cleaning and routines.
• Work closely with front and back of house to create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Uphold Zoku Brand Service Standards in the Living Kitchen.
