Global Rail Group in Vienna is seeking a Junior Consultant to describe railway infrastructure condition and support international customers in planning and implementing maintenance strategies with life cycle considerations.

You will coordinate with your manager on projects, develop new ideas, and contribute to building a young, innovative consulting company. Fluent in English and German, you are open to travel and to moves within the railway track onsite.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in the engineering disciplines (e.g. Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar).
• Education in project management skills is a bonus (e.g. IPMA Level D).
• Education in data science is a bonus (skills in Python etc.).
• Experience in the railway environment (technical consulting, railway superstructure maintenance company (contractor), civil engineering company, infrastructure manager) is a bonus.
• You are fluent in spoken and written English and German.
• Openness to travel (and to move within railway track onsite).

Aufgaben

• You work on solutions to describe the condition of the rail infrastructure with your railway know-how.
• You advise and support our international customers in the planning and implementation of new maintenance strategies with a focus on life cycle considerations and sustainable asset management
• You coordinate with your manager projects and jointly develop new project ideas and accompany them during its project phases
• You take on personal responsibility and contribute to the development and positioning of a young and innovative consulting company
