Zusammenfassung

VTG Rail Europe GmbH – Austrian Branch seeks Fleet Managers in Vienna to manage leased freight wagon fleets across Eastern Europe. You will be the main client contact and uphold VTG's high service standards, coordinating maintenance and overhauls with customers and technical teams.

Ideal candidates combine technical education with experience in logistics or railway contexts, strong English and local language skills, and a proactive, independent work style in an international setting.

Qualifikationen

• Education in a technical field, freight forwarding, logistics.
• Experience in logistic or railway-related companies or managing damaged wagons or freight wagon fleets.
• Strong customer orientation, analytical thinking, and persuasive communication.
• Proactive and agile mindset, able to support continuous improvement and to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills in English and one of the following languages: Czech, Slovak, Polish.
• German knowledge is an asset.
• You're located in the nearby of Vienna.

Aufgaben

• Serve as the primary contact for customers in day-to-day operations and damaged wagon management (tank, standard, and intermodal wagons).
• Manage fleet operations and monitor wagons under maintenance.
• Identify and coordinate optimal maintenance solutions (stationary and/or mobile) within the VTG maintenance network, in consultation with customers and technical service.
• Plan and coordinate overhauls together with customers.
• Organize cleaning or transport services as needed.
• Monitor costs and maintenance recharges and keep customers informed.
• Collaborate closely with internal departments and technical teams.
