Job summary

Deutsche Telekom Cyber Security Austria GmbH in Graz seeks a junior cyber security tester to support safety analyses, vulnerability testing and code reviews. You will work with experienced colleagues on cybersecurity projects, learn testing methodologies and contribute to product readiness for recognised security certifications.

Requirements include a technical degree, initial IT/cyber security exposure, and programming basics in Python/Java/C/C++.

Qualifications

• Completed technical studies in CS/InfoSec/Software engineering or related fields.
• First practical experience through internships, thesis or project work in IT or cyber security.
• Basic knowledge in at least one of: software/security, hardware security, network/mobile security or cryptography.
• Programming skills in Python, Java or C/C++.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in safety analyses and technical consulting projects.
• Assist with vulnerability analyses, security tests and code reviews.
• Prepare test plans, technical documentation and results reports.
• Collaborate with customers, development teams and security specialists.
• Develop know-how on standards/certifications like Common Criteria, FIPS 140-3, IEC 62443 or SESIP.
