Raiffeisen Bank International AG in Vienna is seeking a Junior Credit Risk Analyst to develop in the credit risk space within the Financial Institution sector. The role spans a 2-year program focusing on risk analysis, data-driven projects, and reporting support across RBI’s FI teams.

You'll work with cross-border colleagues to monitor FI developments, apply models for rating assignments, and contribute to risk decisions while building technical skills in Power BI, R, Python, or SQL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
• Advanced analytical skills and ability to investigate complex structures and non-standard problems.
• Proficiency in digital tools and data processing (Power BI, R, Python or SQL).
• Proficiency in AI tools and ability to support AI exploration.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• Collaborative, reliable, and flexible team player.
• Proficiency in English; other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth credit risk analysis of FI entities and rating assignments using models and tools.
• Monitor developments for FI entities, markets, and global factors to update credit assessments.
• Participate in analytical and data-driven projects supporting FI risk management and reporting.
• Implement reporting solutions for FI risk management and stakeholders.
