Job summary

Basikon in Austria is seeking a Senior JavaScript Consultant Developer to shape the core platform used by banks, lenders and fintechs. You’ll work across front and back-end code, drive client projects from design to deployment, and mentor junior developers.

You’ll apply strong JS expertise, modern development practices, and architectural judgment while collaborating with product, tech and international teams in a remote-friendly, fast-moving fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree (Bac+5), engineering degree, or equivalent in computer science or related field.
• At least 1 year of professional experience in JavaScript development.
• Strong command of JavaScript (front and back) and modern development practices.
• Fluent German — essential — and strong English, both written and spoken.
• Autonomous, rigorous, and enjoy solving complex problems; share knowledge with others.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and configure solutions on our platform (front and back, with JavaScript at the core).
