SIMStation in Vienna is seeking an IT Network Engineer to connect technology with medical simulation. The role involves IT planning, system design, and serving as the technical liaison among teams. Candidates should have strong IT system knowledge, experience in project coordination, and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Solid knowledge of Windows environments and network-based typology (e.g., VLANs, firewalls, routing).
• Experience with LDAP and SSO integrations.
• Familiarity with Dante networks and audio/video integrations is a bonus.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams (Sales/Product/Project Management/Engineering/Support).
• Confident communication with client IT departments and internal technical teams.
• Strong documentation skills and structured way of working.
• Ability to translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Self-organized, solution-oriented, and proactive mindset.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.

This Is Your New Mission

Direct Project Involvement (Operational)

Active IT planning and system architecture design for each project, defining infrastructure, network integration, hardware setup, and configuration baselines.

Connect Technical Teams

Serve as the key technical liaison between Sales, Project Management, Engineering, Staging, and Support teams.

Identify Risks Early

Identify technical risks, deviations from standards, and custom requirements early in the pre-project phase.

Define Technical Requirements

Define and communicate system requirements, network prerequisites, and technical dependencies to customer IT teams.

Align Systems Before Staging

Ensure all configurations and integrations are technically clarified and aligned before staging begins.

Technical Documentation

Prepare or validate system diagrams, network topologies, and hardware overviews.

Complex Implementations

Support Project Managers during implementation and act as escalation point for complex technical topics.

Ensure Smooth Handover

Ensure smooth technical handover to staging and support teams.

Strategic & Product-Oriented Responsibilities

Technical Standards

Define, document, and maintain system standards, integration guidelines, and network requirements.

Clear Documentation

Build and maintain structured, accessible technical documentation for staging and support teams.

Scalable Setups

Reduce unnecessary customization by promoting standardized, scalable system setups.

Reusable Frameworks

Contribute to building a standardized, reusable technical framework across projects.

Long-Term Scalability

Strengthen technical governance and ensure long-term system scalability.
