Zusammenfassung

Bachem Holding AG seeks an IT Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and operate cloud services in a regulated production environment. You will build CI/CD pipelines, maintain infrastructure as code with Terraform and CloudFormation, and uphold security, governance, and compliance standards across platforms.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of AWS experience, strong DevOps skills, and familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes, SOC 2/ISO 27001, and multi-cloud contexts.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of hands-on AWS cloud engineering in a production environment.
• Experience in regulated industries (pharma, biotech, medical devices).
• Strong IaC skills (Terraform) and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• AWS Certifications (Associate or higher) or equivalent expertise.
• Experience with DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, and CI/CD practices.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery, business continuity, and hybrid/multi-cloud environments.

• Support change management processes, including CAB participation and technical documentation.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and contribute to cloud governance standards, policies, and operational runbooks.

Your profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• 3+ years of hands-on AWS cloud engineering experience in a production environment
• Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., pharmaceutical, biotech, medical devices)
• Strong skills in Infrastructure-as-Code (preferably Terraform) and scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
• Solid knowledge of AWS security services and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST CSF)
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or higher) or equivalent expertise
• Experience with DevOps and cloud-native technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, and CI/CD practices
• Knowledge of disaster recovery, business continuity, and hybrid/multi-cloud environments
• Additional advantages: AWS DevOps/Security certifications, AWS Bedrock, Veeva Vault or validated systems, NIS2 knowledge skills
• Fluent in English, German is a plus
