Klinikum Austria Gesundheitsgruppe GmbH seeks an experienced Cloud Engineer to design, operate, and evolve complex cloud infrastructures in AWS. You will optimize the production environment, automate deployments with Terraform and GitLab, and collaborate with developers to integrate cutting-edge technologies.

Requirements include extensive AWS and IaC experience, Linux and Kubernetes hands-on skills, and strong DevOps/GitOps know‑how. German language is a plus, English acceptable.

Qualifikationen

• Hands-on Linux and Kubernetes experience.
• Strong networking, load balancing, and DNS knowledge.
• Windows Server and Domain Administration skills.
• Very strong DevOps and GitOps expertise.
• Ideally familiar with GitLab, Vault, Terraform, Grafana, Prometheus, Alertmanager.
• Good English skills; German is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Operate and optimize the production environment in the AWS Cloud.

They are looking for an experienced expert who designs, operates, and sustainably develops complex cloud infrastructures.

Your responsibilities:

• Operation and optimization of the production environment in the AWS Cloud
• Further development, deployment, automation, and maintenance of AWS infrastructures using Terraform and GitLab
• Close collaboration with development teams to integrate new technologies and tools
• Further development and maintenance of the CI/CD pipeline
• Ensuring a stable, highly available, and scalable cloud architecture

Your profile:

• Extensive professional experience with AWS and Infrastructure as Code
• Several years of hands-on experience with Linux and Kubernetes
• Strong knowledge in:
  • Networking, Load Balancing, and DNS
  • Windows Server and Domain Administration
• Very strong know-how in DevOps and GitOps methods
• Ideally experience with GitLab, Hashicorp Vault, Terraform, Grafana, Prometheus, and Alertmanager
• Good English skills; German skills are an advantage
