ETEL S.A. is seeking a strategic and pragmatic leader to head its Information Systems and Digital Transformation organization.

You will align technology initiatives with business priorities and act as a trusted advisor to executives, shaping the company’s digital roadmap and delivering value through secure, reliable services. You will lead Technology Services, ERP and digital solutions, sponsor AI initiatives, and oversee the PMO while building a high-performing, globally dispersed IT team

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Information Systems, CS, Engineering or MBA is advantageous.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience.
• Proven success leading Digital Transformation in manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP and enterprise business solutions.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams.

• Lead ETEL’s IT/IS organization and digital transformation program.
• Shape and execute the company’s digital roadmap with business leaders.

Your mission

Reporting directly to Executive Management, you will lead ETEL’s Information Systems and Digital Transformation organization. As a strategic business partner, you will shape and execute the company’s digital roadmap, ensuring that technology, data and business solutions create tangible value while delivering secure, efficient and reliable services. You will work closely with Executive Management, Business Domain Leaders and Corporate IT to accelerate innovation, optimize business processes and support ETEL’s long‑term growth.

Your responsibilities:

Strategy, Business Partnership & Governance

• Align technology and digital initiatives with business priorities and corporate strategy.
• Act as a trusted advisor to Executive Management and Business Domain Leaders.
• Drive digital transformation, AI, automation and data initiatives across the organization.
• Identify opportunities to simplify and optimize business processes.
• Establish governance for business applications, enterprise data and digital investments.
• Lead project and portfolio prioritization while ensuring clear ownership of business processes, applications and master data.

Technology & Digital Solutions

• Lead Technology Services, Enterprise Applications and Digital Solutions teams.
• Ensure secure, reliable and cost-effective IT operations, including infrastructure, cybersecurity and digital workplace services.
• Govern ERP and enterprise applications in line with corporate roadmaps and business needs.
• Sponsor AI, automation and data initiatives supporting business performance.
• Lead the PMO and oversee solution architecture and strategic project delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement of digital capabilities across the business.
• Coordinate ETEL’s international IT hubs and act as the primary interface with HEIDENHAIN Group IT.

Leadership

• Lead, develop and inspire the IT/IS organization.
• Manage Business System Analysts and IT specialists while supporting a network of Business Domain Leaders.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, customer orientation, innovation and continuous improvement.
• Build a high‑performing team capable of supporting ETEL’s business ambitions.

Your profile

• University degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or Business MBA or postgraduate is an advantage.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience.
• Proven success leading Digital Transformation, Business Technology or Information Systems organizations.
• Experience within an international manufacturing environment.
• Strong expertise in ERP and enterprise business solutions.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and complex transformation programs.
• Enterprise Applications (ERP, PLM, CRM, DMS, SAP is a plus).
