Zusammenfassung

Erste Asset Management in Vienna seeks a Business Manager to bridge investment management, performance controlling, project management and governance. You will support the CIO by translating strategic priorities into concrete initiatives, processes and decisions across Austria and CEE.

The role offers a broad perspective across asset management, from monitoring performance to driving cross-functional projects and shaping investment processes.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or a comparable field; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Analytical and structured working style with strong organizational skills and hands-on mentality.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to coordinate stakeholders from concept to implementation.
• Around 1-3 years of professional experience in asset management or related financial-services environment.
• Good understanding of financial markets, investment products and financial and economic theory.
• Experience with performance controlling, product management or investment-related analysis.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; able to moderate meetings and convey complex topics clearly.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work across functions and locations.
• High data literacy and ability to work with AI tools; basic programming concepts advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Monitor investment performance across EAM's fund range and external fund managers, identify developments and coordinate follow-up measures.
• Prepare and coordinate regular performance reviews and management information for the Investment Division.
• Manage and steer cross-functional projects covering business, regulatory, process and IT topics and support the CIO.
• Contribute to governance structures and investment processes, translate requirements into practical processes and communicate them across the organization.
• Strengthen collaboration across Austrian and CEE investment teams and support integration of group-wide processes.
• Coordinate divisional activities, including budget planning, management meetings and decision forums with Risk, Sales, Product Solutions and Communications.
• Support workforce planning, selection processes and KPI monitoring for the Investment Division.
• Build expertise in major asset classes and contribute market insights to discussions and initiatives.
