Kommunalkredit Austria AG invites motivated interns to join the M&A and Debt Advisory team in a hands-on capacity, gaining experience in financial analysis, deal structuring, and client engagement. The role is geared toward those with strong MS Office skills and a keen interest in corporate finance and energy infrastructure across Europe.

The internship is open for up to 6 months, with a 38.5-hour work week and a monthly remuneration of 2,870 Euros gross.

Qualifikationen

• EU nationality or valid Germany work permit required.
• Advanced studies in Business Administration or Economics or related field.
• Flexible team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical abilities and MS Office proficiency (Excel/PowerPoint/Word).
• Able to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Fluency in English essential; German and CEE languages are a plus.
• Prior internships or similar experience is a plus.
• Interest in corporate finance and energy & infrastructure sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the team in originating and executing buy-side and sell-side M&A and Debt Advisory mandates
• Conduct market and industry analysis
• Assist in the preparation of transaction materials, such as teasers, information memorandums, management presentations, and financial models
• Support in managing due diligence processes
• Support the team on ad-hoc assignments, internal and external presentations, and reporting / monitoring tasks

Requirements

• Work Authorization: Candidates must hold EU nationality or possess a valid work permit for Germany. Applications without valid work authorization cannot be considered
• Academic Background: Advanced studies in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
• lnterpersonal Skills: Flexible team player with strong interpersonal skills
• Technical Skills: Strong analytical abilities and advanced proficiency in MS Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Work Ethic: Strong commitment to delivering on multiple tasks under tight deadlines
• Language Skills: Fluency in English is essential; German and CEE language skills are considered a strong advantage
• Experience: Relevant job experience (internships or similar) is a plus
• lnterest Areas: A demonstrated interest in corporate finance and the energy & infrastructure sector is considered a strong plus
• Availability: Open for a period of up to 6 months, starting as soon as possible

We are excited to offer motivated and talented students a hands‑on internship experience in a supportive environment. With a minimum commitment of three months, interns will work 38.5 hours per week and receive a remuneration of 2,870 Euros per month. Ideally, the internship will last 6 months, depending on the candidate's availability.
