Job summary

INNIO Jenbacher GmbH & Co OG in Tirol invites you to join a motivated engineering team developing emissions and aftertreatment concepts for gas engines, with a focus on testing and analysis. The role includes the layout of aftertreatment systems and test installations, and close collaboration with engineering teams.

This full-time internship starts in 2027, lasting at least 6 months, with a base pay according to the Austrian collective agreement of at least EUR 2,755.26 gross per month (x14).

Qualifications

• Student in engineering fields related to mechanical/chemical processes.
• Interest in internal combustion engines and emissions systems.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently.
• Good communication in an international environment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a motivated engineering team to develop and improve emissions and aftertreatment products by focusing on testing and analysis.
• Layout of aftertreatment systems and test installations, including related component specifications.
• Support development from concept to product release and assist in-house and field testing.
• Analyze measurement results, interpret data, and report findings.

Your responsibilities:

• Work in a motivated engineering team to develop and improve emissions and aftertreatment products of INNIO Jenbacher gas engines by focusing on testing and analysis
• Layout of aftertreatment systems and test installations, including related component specifications and sub-system design
• Support of the development process from concept phase to product release
• Support and execute in-house and field testing of components and overall aftertreatment system validation
• Analysis of measurement results, interpretation and reporting

Your qualifications:

• Student of mechanical engineering, process engineering, chemical engineering or similar
• Passion for internal combustion engines, emissions aftertreatment system and environment protection
• High motivation and ability to work independently
• Good communication skills in an international environment
