Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Austria is seeking a motivated student to join our acoustics and ASICs team for a temporary role in Villach. You will conduct electroacoustic measurements, operate lab equipment like oscilloscopes and Audio Precision, and help validate SNR, THD, and frequency responses.

Qualifications

• Education: motivated student in electrical engineering, information technology, physics, media technology, acoustics or related field.
• Technical Skills: exposure to analog and digital circuit technology, including ASICs, basic acoustics and signal processing.
• Practical Experience: some lab experience and programming skills in Python or MATLAB.
• Language: good English; German is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Acoustics: conduct independent electroacoustic measurements in an anechoic room or measurement boxes.
• Lab Equipment: use professional measurement equipment including Audio Precision, oscilloscopes, signal generators and spectrum analyzers.
• Audio Validation: validate SNR, THD and frequency responses.
• Automation: support measurement workflows using MATLAB or Python.
• Data Preparation: accurately record measurements and prepare data for the development team.
