Infineon Technologies AG in Austria is seeking a Master’s student in Electrical/Electronics or a related field for a temporary/part-time role. You will help manage lab equipment and calibration, prepare hardware for CV testing, migrate MATLAB-based workflows to a CVIC automation platform, and assist with handling Early Engineering Parts (EEPs) using automated tools.

Qualifikationen

• Pursuing a Master's in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Microelectronics, or related field.
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment and measurement systems.
• Good programming knowledge (Python, MATLAB, C, C#, or C++) and willingness to develop automation skills.
• Fluency in English; German is a plus.

• Equipment and Calibration Management: Ensure laboratory equipment is properly managed, tracked, and maintained to support uninterrupted engineering and testing activities, coordinate calibration activities with internal and external service providers
• Hardware and Test Board Preparation: Prepare hardware for iGaN CV testing activities, perform soldering and de-soldering of electronic components, assemble and modify CV PCBs and test boards, support engineering teams in setting up hardware required for measurements and evaluations
• Automation and Software Support: Assist in migrating existing solutions from MATLAB to a new CVIC-based automation platform
• Engineering Sample Processing: Assist with the handling and preparation of Early Engineering Parts (EEPs), perform sampling and trimming activities using automated software tools
• Cross-Functional Technical Support: Collaborate with engineering, laboratory, and operational teams to provide technical support and ensure the smooth execution of development and testing activities

Type of employment: Temporary / Part-time (flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.)

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Education: Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Microelectronics or a related field
• Laboratory Tools and Equipment: Interest in and familiarity with laboratory equipment and measurement systems
• Programming Fundamentals: Good knowledge of programming language (e.g., Python, MATLAB, C, C#, or C++) and willingness to further develop coding and automation skills
• Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment, collaborating with engineers, technicians, and other stakeholders to achieve shared objectives
• Language Skills: Fluency in English, German is a plus
