Aufgaben

• Design and evolve IP/MPLS/NW architectures (IP Core, IP Access, IP Datacenter, Mobile Backhaul, B2B SD-WAN).
• Evaluate and integrate new platforms and vendor solutions, including lab validation and specs.
• Develop and maintain design standards, guidelines, and implementation docs (HLD/LLD).
• Manage platform lifecycle from intro to operation to retirement; define tech roadmap.
• Deliver B2B networking solutions focusing on SD-WAN and carry out feasibility studies for new services.
• Advance network automation and AI-driven capabilities to improve efficiency and reliability.

Our team defines the design and development strategy for IP/MPLS/SR core and IP data centre networks, with focus on B2B solutions.

We are responsible for developing and evolving a shared IP/MPLS core network that meets the highest standards of availability, service quality, and performance. Our mission is to provide a robust and scalable network foundation that enables the successful delivery of new services, platforms, and products across both fixed-line and mobile networks. Working closely with national and international engineering teams, management, and technology vendors, we drive innovation by aligning our network architecture with emerging technological trends and business requirements.

• Design and evolve IP/MPLS network architectures, including IP Core, IP Access, IP Datacenter, Mobile Backhaul, B2B SD-WAN, and network automation platforms
• Evaluate and integrate new technologies, platforms, hardware, software, and vendor solutions, including laboratory validation, technical specifications, and vendor selection
• Develop and maintain network architecture, design standards, configuration guidelines, and implementation documentation (HLD, LLD, Implementation Guides), while ensuring scalability, performance, and capacity planning
• Manage the complete platform lifecycle from introduction through operation to retirement, while defining the long-term technology roadmap
• Deliver B2B networking solutions with a focus on SD-WAN (Fortinet, Versa), including feasibility studies and impact assessments for new services and customer projects
• Advance network automation and AI-driven capabilities to improve operational efficiency, service quality, and network reliability

Do you have solid experience with IP/MPLS, IP Datacenter networks, routing and switching, SD-WAN technologies (e.g. Fortinet, Versa), as well as network planning and automation?

Are you experienced with network automation, simulation, monitoring, and troubleshooting tools, as well as database technologies?

Are you an analytical, proactive, and resilient team player who enjoys solving complex technical challenges?

Are you willing to take technical ownership and provide engineering leadership in complex technical initiatives?
