Job summary

Magenta Telekom in Vienna is seeking a Systemarchitekt (f/m/d) to lead technical projects and own the Magenta Service Delivery Platform. You will design architectures, translate business needs into scalable solutions and ensure high availability, performance, and security across systems.

Responsibilities include modernization of the AT-Alert platform, maintaining stability, and participating in on-call rotations. Strong communication and a holistic, business-oriented approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and architecting complex enterprise landscapes.
• Expertise with container technologies (Kubernetes) and cloud infrastructures, including CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid background in Unix/Linux administration, networking, and database systems.

• Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of systems, including software quality, security compliance, and capacity planning
• Drive the continuous evolution and modernization of the AT-Alert platform – at both system and application levels
• Maintain stable operations and support platform reliability, including participation in on-call rotations

According to the collective agreement for the telecommunications industry, this position carries a minimum gross monthly salary of
€ 4.175,76 based on full-time employment (38.5 hours per week). We will discuss your actual salary with you in person, taking into account your individual qualifications and professional experience. You can expect an attractive offer that exceeds the minimum stipulated by the agreement.
