Qualifikationen

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Mechatronics, or a comparable technical discipline.
• Several years of experience in the industrialization of power electronic systems, preferably in inverter technology.
• Strong understanding of hardware and software design in the field of power electronics.
• Experience in establishing serial production processes and managing suppliers, ideally in an international environment.
• Knowledge of relevant technical standards and regulations (e.g., IEC, EMC, safety standards).
• Experience in developing and operating test and validation systems.

Aufgaben

• Lead the industrialization of our existing medium-frequency inverter prototype into a scalable series production solution
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes and support the setup of internal and/or external production capabilities
• Select, qualify, and manage suppliers and manufacturing partners
• Design and implement test and validation concepts, including end-of-line testing and product qualification
• Ensure compliance with relevant technical standards, regulations, and quality requirements (e.g., IEC, EMC, safety standards)
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, and Production to ensure a robust product design (Design for Manufacturing & Testing)
• Identify and mitigate risks throughout the industrialization process
• Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, technical standards, and process documentation

TPS develops innovative plasma burners for the decarbonization of industrial furnaces, making a significant contribution to reducing CO₂ emissions in energy-intensive industries. A key element of this technology is a medium-frequency (MF) inverter, for which a fully functional prototype has already been developed. The next milestone is transforming this prototype into a reliable, scalable industrial product. To strengthen our R&D team, we are looking for an experienced Industrialization Engineer (m/w/d) who will take ownership of the industrialization process and help establish a robust manufacturing environment for this innovative technology.

TASKS
