Zusammenfassung

Hitachi ABB Power Grids is seeking a motivated Project Control Engineer for our Competence Center “Power Converter Solutions”. You will plan, execute, and control engineering aspects of high‑power converter projects, from hardware and software concepts to documentation and commissioning.

You’ll coordinate interfaces between customers, sub‑suppliers, and internal teams, develop control software, assist with testing on real‑time platforms, and support sales with technical concepts and tender

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (Bachelor’s or Master’s)
• Hands-on experience with MATLAB/Simulink is essential
• Strong knowledge of process control and software design (e.g. OLC, CLC, Protection, HMI)
• Willingness to travel globally for commissioning assignments (approx. 20%)
• Fluency in English and German

Your background

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (Bachelor’s or Master’s, from a university or university of applied sciences)
• Hands‑on experience with MATLAB / Simulink is essential
• Strong knowledge of process control and software design (e.g. OLC, CLC, Protection, HMI)
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g. OPC, IEC 61850, IEC 60870-5-104, DNP3) is a plus
• Initial experience in testing, commissioning, or applied engineering is an advantage
• Willingness to travel globally for commissioning assignments (approx. 20% of working time)
• Fluency in English and German
