Wienerberger AG in Vienna seeks an experienced AI Engineer to build and manage scalable enterprise AI platforms and solutions. You will work with AI Champions, business experts and IT teams to turn use cases into production-ready AI capabilities.

The role requires strong programming in Python/Java/JavaScript, robust cloud-native skills on Azure, and hands-on experience with AI in enterprise environments. A hybrid setup in Vienna is offered.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of software development or solution architecture experience.
• Strong programming in Python, JavaScript, or Java.
• Solid cloud-native development and Azure knowledge.
• Experience with AzureDevOps, Terraform, and serverless technologies.
• Hands-on AI solution building in enterprise environments.
• Understanding of RAG, APIs, and system integration.
• Experience coordinating developers and external vendors.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience in international environments is an advantage.

Aufgaben

• Build and operate scalable enterprise AI platforms and solutions.
• Support AI platform governance, security and responsible AI practices.
• Translate business use cases into technical AI solutions.
• Develop and deploy AI applications using Microsoft Foundry, Copilot Studio and related technologies.
• Design RAG architectures using enterprise data and knowledge sources.
• Integrate AI solutions with enterprise applications through APIs, MCP servers and other technologies.
• Turn successful proofs of concept into production-ready solutions.
• Define solution architectures and provide hands-on engineering guidance.
• Develop reusable AI components, accelerators, templates and services.
• Collaborate with global AI Champions, business teams, security and architecture.
• Coordinate developers, technical specialists and external technology partners.
