Zusammenfassung

GAC Motor Austria is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead the full employee lifecycle, establish HR structures and act as a trusted contact for employees, managers and international stakeholders. The role is based in Raaba near Graz and offers a full‑time position starting immediately.

You will independently manage recruitment, onboarding, payroll coordination, and the development of local HR policies in line with Austrian law within a growing European group.

Qualifikationen

  • A completed degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology or a comparable field.
  • At least five years of broad HR experience, ideally gained within an Austrian company, European organisation, start‑up or international subsidiary.
  • Business‑fluent German and strong English skills, enabling you to communicate confidently with local and international stakeholders.
  • Sound knowledge of Austrian employment law, payroll processes, tax regulations, social security requirements and common HR information systems.
  • Strong organisational and execution capabilities, combined with confidence in recruitment, employee relations, HR administration and Microsoft Office.
  • A structured, reliable and solution‑oriented personality with strong communication skills, cultural awareness and the ability to succeed in a fast‑paced environment.

Aufgaben

  • Independently manage the entire recruitment process, from job postings and candidate selection to interviews, background checks and offer negotiations.
  • Coordinate all employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, employment contracts, probation reviews, internal transfers, contract renewals and offboarding.
  • Manage payroll‑related information, bonuses, allowances, attendance and leave while coordinating Austrian social insurance and employee benefits.
  • Identify training and development needs and organise suitable internal and external learning initiatives.
  • Develop and continuously improve local HR policies, procedures and documentation in line with Austrian employment law and group‑wide standards.
  • Promote a positive corporate culture by organising employee engagement initiatives, team‑building activities and HR‑related projects across the organisation.

GAC Motor Austria is developing its presence in the automotive market as part of an international automotive group focused on advanced vehicle technologies, intelligent mobility and sustainable growth. Our Austrian organisation supports the market development, distribution and long-term establishment of the GAC Motor brand.

To support our continued growth and build a strong local organisation, we are looking for an experienced and hands‑on HR Manager. In this role, you will manage the full employee lifecycle, establish professional HR structures and act as a trusted contact for employees, managers and international stakeholders.

Your Package

The applicable minimum gross salary for this position is EUR 4300,- per month on a full‑time basis, in accordance with the applicable Austrian collective agreement and classification.

Depending on your qualifications, relevant professional experience and HR expertise, GAC Motor Austria is prepared to offer a higher salary.
