The Social Hub in Austria is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee cleaning of hotel and student rooms, and to coordinate with external partners for kitchens, restaurant, and coworking areas.

You should have at least 2 years of housekeeping supervisory experience, be fluent in English and able to handle German, and be highly organized and calm under pressure. This role is based in Austria and requires legal work eligibility.

Qualifikationen

• At least 2 years of experience in a housekeeping supervisor/manager role.
• Fluent in English; able to manage in German (written and spoken).
• Clean, organized, and able to structure a housekeeping department.
• Calm under pressure and a multitasking performer.
• Legally allowed to work in Austria.

Aufgaben

• Make sure the hotel and student rooms are 24/7 sparkling and super-clean.
• Coordinate work activities with external cleaning partners for rooms, kitchens, restaurant, and coworking area
• Supervise and follow up on performance of external cleaning partners according to contracts
• Plan and co-organize student check-in and check-out
• Ensure overall quality and cleanliness of rooms; manage daily, weekly and monthly workflows
• Maintain stock levels of supplies
• Organize and structure storages
• Forecast department personnel requirements and propose quality improvements
• Inspect building to determine need for repairs or replacement of furniture/equipment and advise management

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you should be flexible in your daily routine as The Social Hub is an ever-changing vibrant hotel. Your job is to ensure excellent cleanliness and spot on rooms. You should be used to a flexible working routine and have great communication skills.

You will be reporting directly to the Housekeeping Manager and you are mainly responsible for the cleaning of the hotel and student rooms. In addition, you will also be responsible of the cleanliness of the hotels’ shared kitchens and public areas.

What You’ll Do:

• Responsible for the overall quality & cleanliness of the rooms; daily, weekly & monthly workflows;
• Ensure adequate stock levels of all needed supplies;
• Organize and structure the storages;
• Evaluate records to forecast department personnel requirements;Make recommendations to improve quality of rooms and ensure more efficient operation;
• Examine building to determine need for repairs or replacement of furniture or equipment, and make recommendations to management.

Who You Are:

• You have at least 2 years experience in a housekeeping supervisor/manager role;
• You’re fluent in English and can get by in German (written and spoken), other languages are a bonus;
• You’re a clean and organised master-mind;
• A big star in organising and structuring any Housekeeping Department
• You’re extremely calm under pressure and a multitasking machine!
• You're legally allowed to work in Austria.
