Job summary

The Social Hub in Vienna is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead cleaning standards across rooms, kitchens, dining and coworking spaces. You will report to the Housekeeping Manager and play a key role in ensuring spotless rooms and well-organized areas.

Fluency in English is required and German proficiency is a bonus; you should be calm under pressure and excel at organizing a dynamic housekeeping team within a hybrid hospitality environment. Austrian work eligibility is a must.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in housekeeping supervisor/manager roles.
• Fluent in English; basic German is a plus (written and spoken).
• Legally allowed to work in Austria.

Responsibilities

• Ensure hotel rooms, kitchens and public areas are kept to high cleanliness standards.
• Coordinate activities with external cleaning partners for rooms, kitchens, restaurant and coworking areas.
• Supervise performance of external partners and ensure contract compliance.
• Plan student check-in/check-out and manage stock levels of supplies.
• Organize storages and forecast personnel requirements.
• Recommend improvements to quality and efficiency of operations.
• Inspect building and equipment for repairs or replacements.

The Social Hub is hiring through Hosco in Vienna.As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you should be flexible in your daily routine as The Social Hub is an ever-changing vibrant hotel. Your job is to ensure excellent cleanliness and spot on rooms. You should be used to a flexible working routine and have great communication skills. Your mission, should you choose to accept: You will be reporting directly to the Housekeeping Manager and you are mainly responsible for the cleaning of the hotel and student rooms. In addition, you will also be responsible of the cleanliness of the hotels’ shared kitchens and public areas. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you should be flexible in your daily routine as The Social Hub is an ever-changing vibrant hotel. Your job is to ensure excellent cleanliness and spot on rooms. What You’ll Do:

• Make sure the hotel is 24/7 sparkling & super-clean!
• Coordinate work activities with our external cleaning partners for all of our rooms, kitchens, restaurant, and coworking area
• Supervise and follow up on performance of external cleaning partners according to the contracts;
• Plan and co-organize our student check in and check out;
• Responsible for the overall quality & cleanliness of the rooms; daily, weekly & monthly workflows;
• Ensure adequate stock levels of all needed supplies;
• Organize and structure the storages;
• Evaluate records to forecast department personnel requirements;
• Make recommendations to improve quality of rooms and ensure more efficient operation;
• Examine building to determine need for repairs or replacement of furniture or equipment, and make recommendations to management.

Who You Are:

• You have at least 2 years experience in a housekeeping supervisor/manager role;
• You’re fluent in English and can get by in German (written and spoken), other languages are a bonus;
• You’re a clean and organised master-mind;
• A big star in organising and structuring any Housekeeping Department;
• You’re extremely calm under pressure and a multitasking machine! You're legally allowed to work in Austria.
