Zusammenfassung

Philips Dictation | Speech Processing Solutions is seeking a Head of QA to own and evolve the quality function across SpeechLive clients (mobile, desktop, web) and hardware integrations. You will define strategy, lead a team end-to-end, and partner with the CTO and product leadership to balance release confidence with speed.

You will drive automation, CI/CD, and AI/ML‑based testing, while building a culture of ownership, transparency, and continuous improvement across distributed teams in

Qualifikationen

• Several years of experience in QA Engineering, including leadership of QA teams.
• Experience testing multi-platform SaaS products, automation architecture, CI/CD integration, API testing, and end-to-end test strategy, including AI/ML features.
• Proven track record collaborating with engineering and product leadership and challenging scope when the quality risk warrants it.
• Strong people leadership and ability to foster ownership and continuous improvement.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Technically credible with modern testing practices and ability to discuss with QA engineers and senior developers.
• Experience in Agile environments at scale; distributed/international teams.
• Familiarity with speech, AI/ML-based features, or hardware-software integrations is a plus.
• Fluent in English; German is advantageous.

• Define and evolve the quality strategy across the product ecosystem.
• Lead cross-team quality programs including release readiness, integration coverage, and risk decisions.
• Define test approaches for complex cross-component work and coordinate across teams.
• Identify systemic quality signals and drive root-cause fixes.
• Set automation strategy and guide tooling decisions across QA.
• Build quality standards, gates, and escalation paths for engineering teams.
• Lead, hire, and develop the QA team with clear ownership.
• Partner with CTO, Head of Product, and Head of Software Development on quality risk and investments.
• Coordinate quality standards with external development partners.
