Zusammenfassung

Keyrock is seeking a Head of Engineering with a focus on systematic options trading to lead the Options Engineering team and drive the evolution of our Rust-based platform.

Based predominantly remote with hubs across Europe and the US, you will partner with traders, quants, product, risk, and infrastructure to deliver high‑reliability trading systems, automated quoting, and robust risk controls while mentoring engineers.

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years in systematic trading, options market-making or low-latency systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with Rust, C++, or C.
• Willingness to become deeply proficient in Rust.
• Experience with SQL databases in production (PostgreSQL preferred).
• Familiarity with testing and production-grade validation practices.

Aufgaben

• Lead and grow an Options Engineering team of around 7 engineers
• Provide strong technical direction across trading infrastructure, system design, performance, reliability, and risk controls
• Own and evolve an existing Rust-native systematic options trading platform
• Partner closely with trading, quants, product, risk, and infrastructure stakeholders
• Balance technical leadership with people leadership, delivery ownership, and operational discipline
• Work pragmatically through complex engineering and trading-system challenges
