Octapharma is seeking a Group Principal Engineer to shape the engineering strategy across Greenfield developments and drive standardization. You will provide technical direction, lead critical investment decisions, and ensure GMP and regulatory compliance across multiple sites in Europe.

The role requires 15+ years in engineering, strong leadership, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders while traveling internationally (approx. 30%).

Qualifikationen

• 15+ years of broad engineering experience, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven ability to shape engineering strategies and define technical standards.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, regulatory requirements and risk management.

• Shape and lead the engineering strategy for Greenfield developments. Translate business requirements into engineering priorities.
• Review and challenge major investment plans with focus on Greenfield developments and risk.
• Define engineering standards and requirements for development projects.
• Act as a technical advisor across the organization within the area of expertise.
• Evaluate new technologies and approaches for improvements.
• Provide technical direction to teams involved in Greenfield developments and mentor junior engineers.
• Drive technical standardization across production lines for cross-site learning and training.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements.
• Oversee the budget within the area of responsibility, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
