Zusammenfassung

The OPEC Fund for International Development in Vienna is seeking a Treasury Payments Officer to manage global banking payment operations and maintain strong relationships with counterparty banks to ensure timely, cost-effective payments for the Fund's activities.

You will support liquidity management, collateral settlements, SWIFT operations, and financial reporting, with a two-year fixed term and potential renewal.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting and Control, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a closely related field, with at least 5 years of relevant experience including international bank exposure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting and Control, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a closely related field, with at least 10 years of relevant experience including international financial institutions, with relevant certifications welcome.
• Experience with cash correspondent models and custodians, focusing on emerging markets.
• Proficiency in SWIFT, securities transactions, cash management, collateral management, and treasury management systems; Calypso is an asset.
• Strong client service orientation and ability to identify risks and practical solutions.

Aufgaben

• Executes global loan disbursement and administrative payments in multi-currency via House Bank accounts within SLAs.
• Maintains relationships with House Banks and resolves payment rejections or inquiries.
• Monitors liquidity, cash and collateral positions; supports collateral settlement and related transfers.
• Supports reporting, audits, and reconciliation of House Bank accounts.
• Monitors SWIFT activity and coordinates with Loan Management and external partners.
• Operates treasury systems and supports IT initiatives to improve efficiency.
