Zusammenfassung

OPEC Fund in Vienna seeks the Director, Financial Controls to lead the internal control framework and ensure timely, accurate financial statements in full compliance with IFRS, Fund policies and international best practices.

You will direct a multicultural team, partner with Treasury and external auditors, and drive governance enhancements, process improvements and robust financial reporting across the organisation. This is a two-year fixed term appointment with renewal potential.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Financial Management, or related field.
• CA or CPA certification is required.
• Minimum of 15 years of relevant professional experience.
• Senior-level experience in international banking is preferred.
• Fluent in English; additional languages beneficial.

Aufgaben

• Oversee financial controls and reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Lead quarter-end and year-end close processes and reporting.
• Manage internal controls design, policies, and process improvements.
• Coordinate with Treasury on cash management and FX activities.
• Engage with external auditors and provide timely data to Audit & Risk Committee.
• Mentor and develop staff; foster inclusive leadership and teamwork.
• Represent finance in cross-functional governance and strategic initiatives.
• Ensure alignment with IFRS and other accounting standards.
