Hitachi Energy Ltd in Switzerland seeks a seasoned Quality Manager for EPC projects to drive quality across large programs. You will partner with project teams, customers, suppliers, and site organizations to ensure quality requirements are understood, implemented, and improved.

This role requires a strong technical background and excellent communication across a global matrix. You will develop and maintain project quality plans, lead audits and issue resolution, and monitor key quality

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required; master’s degree is an advantage.
• At least five years of EPC project quality management experience in a large organization.
• ISO 9001 knowledge; internal-auditor certification is a plus.
• Familiarity with SAP Quality Module and PMI methodologies or PMI/CAPM beneficial.
• Experience with supplier and site quality processes, PPAP, ITPs, inspections, and QA documentation.
• Knowledge of 8D, root cause analysis, PDCA, 5 Why, Lean Six Sigma, and FMEA.
• Excellent English communication; German or additional languages a plus.

Aufgaben

• Plan, organize, lead, and monitor quality activities, KPIs, and deliverables.
• Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Plan per ISO 9001.
• Collaborate with project teams, suppliers, and site organizations.
• Lead quality audits, manage non-conformances, and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor KPIs, customer complaints, cost of quality, and project savings.
• Coordinate quality requirements for critical equipment; review ITPs and Master Test Plans.
• Support site quality activities including audits, training, and documentation handover.
• Promote a strong quality culture and apply lean problem-solving approaches.
