Hirschmann Automotive seeks a seasoned leader for Global Production & Industrialization to shape strategic direction and drive international industrialization projects. You will lead cross-plant initiatives, set global KPIs, and advance Industry 4.0 efforts to boost efficiency and quality.

You will manage capex, standardize processes, and mentor a network of leaders across Europe, Asia, and Africa, ensuring delivery on time, cost, and quality targets.

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing/Production Engineering, Mechatronics, or related technical discipline; Master’s/MBA advantageous.
• 10+ years in production/manufacturing engineering or industrialization in automotive supply.
• Proven track record leading industrialization/new product launches in multi-plant, international settings.
• Senior leadership with global or multi-site responsibility.
• Strong Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma; black belt a plus.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, FMEA and manufacturing tech (injection, stamping, automation).
• Experience managing capital expenditure budgets and building data-driven business cases.
• Fluent in English and German; willing to travel internationally.
• Strategic thinker with hands-on plant-floor credibility.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders without direct authority.
• Excellent analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.

Responsabilités

• Define and evolve global production and industrialization strategy aligned with growth and technology roadmap.
• Lead global industrialization for new products from feasibility in RfQ/PEP through pilot, PPAP, and series launch.
• Own and standardize global manufacturing processes across sites for consistency and scalability.
• Drive capacity planning and site/line allocation decisions with Sales, SCM and Business Units.
• Set and govern global KPIs (OEE, launch timing, capex) and lead performance reviews.
• Lead a global network of industrialization leaders and foster a culture of operational excellence and CI/Kaizen.
• Oversee global capex for new equipment and lines with sound business cases and standardization.
• Champion digitalization and Industry 4.0 initiatives (MES, data analytics, digital twins).
• Ensure compliance with automotive quality standards and safety/environmental regulations.
• Represent the function in audits, pitches and management reviews.
• Drive standardization of production via HAOS and define global benchmarks.
