Zusammenfassung

ams OSRAM's LSP – Light Sensors & Photonics is seeking an experienced product professional to lead the Optical Force Sensing portfolio, shaping strategy, roadmaps and lifecycle plans for global markets.

You will translate market signals into product requirements, develop business cases, pricing guidance, and margins, and coordinate launches with cross-functional teams in sales, engineering, and operations. Fluent English is required; travel up to 20% is expected in a global matrix setting.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in electrical engineering, physics, photonics, or microsystems technology.
• Several years of experience in product management, marketing, or application engineering in relevant industries.
• Solid knowledge of optical sensing and related technologies.
• Experience managing roadmaps and business cases in a global matrix organization.
• Strong commercial and analytical skills in pricing, forecasting, margin management, and portfolio prioritization.
• Fluent English; German is beneficial.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 20%.

Aufgaben

• Define and drive the global Optical Force Sensing product strategy, roadmap, positioning, lifecycle plans, and business priorities.
• Translate market trends, customer needs, competitive activity, and technology developments into product plans, requirements, and investment recommendations.
• Manage the product lifecycle from concept through development, launch, ramp-up, sustaining, and end-of-life.
• Develop business cases, pricing guidance, forecasts, margin targets, and portfolio profitability analyses.
• Support strategic customer engagements with roadmap input, product positioning, competitive differentiation, and commercial guidance.
• Coordinate launches, sales enablement, performance tracking, and cross-functional alignment with sales, application engineering, R&D, operations, quality, and supply chain.
