Umdaschgroup in Austria seeks a Global Category Manager Logistics to develop and implement global and regional sourcing strategies for transportation and logistics services. You will secure competitive TCO, reliable capacities, and high-performing suppliers while driving sustainability across our global network.

You will collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, Sales, Finance, and local Procurement teams to drive sourcing excellence, supplier performance, and continuous improvement, reporting

Qualifikationen

• Degree in relevant field is required or preferred.
• Several years of experience in strategic procurement, category management, or international logistics management.
• Strong knowledge of transportation and logistics markets (road, ocean, intermodal).
• Experience with international sourcing projects, commercial negotiations, and contract management.
• Experience with Transporeon is an advantage.
• Fluency in English and German (written and spoken); additional languages are assets.

Aufgaben

• Develop and implement global and regional category strategies for logistics services.
• Manage international tenders, RFQs, benchmarks, and service provider evaluations.
• Negotiate and implement contracts and framework agreements.
• Identify alternative service providers, routes, and transportation solutions.
• Ensure capacity availability, delivery capability, and multi-sourcing strategies.
• Provide governance, reporting, and supplier performance management.
