Job summary

SmartRecruiters, Inc. is seeking a Hardware Design Engineer (f/m/x) for a global product development role with an expat opportunity. You will design and verify electronic circuits, develop PCB testing concepts, and support production transfers across international teams.

The role requires a degree in electrical engineering, hands-on lab experience, and strong teamwork in a multinational environment. A long-term international assignment is possible after onboarding in Graz.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable field.
• Strong expertise in circuit design and verification of electronic circuits.
• Hands‑on laboratory and workshop experience in measurement technology and/or soldering.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills in international environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate innovative electronic concepts with interdisciplinary teams.
• Design, specify, and develop electronic circuits and create schematics.
• Develop and implement PCB testing concepts with manufacturing.
• Perform verification and approvals of PCB designs with the layout team.
• Conduct verification and functional testing of circuits and assemblies.
• Support transfer of new products into series production including EMC testing.
• Collaborate across international locations, software, mechanical design, and product management.
