Greiner is seeking a Group Category Manager - Foaming to own a substantial spend category and drive strategic sourcing on a global scale. You will lead tender processes, optimize supplier bases, and collaborate with S&OP, Supply Planning, Operations, and Sourcing teams to ensure value creation and supply security.

The role demands a university degree and several years in strategic sourcing within international environments, with a strong grasp of chemical markets and data-driven decision making.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Chemistry, or comparable field.
• Several years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management, or direct procurement within an international environment.
• Strong understanding of chemical market – polyols, isocyanates and additives for polyurethane sector, or other materials from petrochemical industry.

Aufgaben

• Develop, own, and execute the global sourcing strategy for polyols, isocyanates, additives and other components for production of flexible polyurethane foam.
• Analyse global supply markets, identify opportunities and risks, and derive strategic initiatives.
• Act as the global point of contact for category-related topics and drive alignment across regions and business functions.
• Lead international tender processes, including RFQs, supplier evaluations, and contract negotiations.
• Drive supplier consolidation, optimization initiatives, and value-creation projects balancing cost, quality, service, and sustainability.
